REQUIREMENTS Bachelor Degree Civil Structural, (BSCE,) Remote work from your home office, (near our Akron or Columbus, Ohio locations is preferable) Entry level engineers will be considered, BSME or related engineering field may be considered 0 to 15 years' experience as a structural engineer for facilities (Professional Engineering license is a strong plus) Knowledge of construction industry & structural steel concepts and design Calculation knowledge with Aluminum, Glass, Flat Sheet, Structural support Forward thinker for unique and alternative structural system design of building envelopes, facades, curtain walls and cladding Up to 25% local and domestic travel ( 1wk/mo.) for client consulting, support, field inspections, and photo documentation (typically: Ohio, Boston MA, Connecticut, and Philadelphia PA) Exceptional people communication skills for customer interaction, strong verbal & written consultant skills CAD proficiency AutoCADD / Autodesk Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
