You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance of rotating equipment assets, leading reliability programs, and managing system reliability risks. As a Rotating Equipment Reliability Engineer, you'll develop and implement strategies, programs, and premises to maximize asset value creation, ensure safe equipment operation, and control the cost of ownership.

Location: Greater Houston Area near Alvin, TX

What You'll Be Doing:



  • Establish equipment performance expectations and measure overall performance.




  • Utilize industry-best reliability tools to drive improvements and optimize costs.




  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for proactive issue resolution.




  • Optimize preventive maintenance tasks, identify gaps, and develop corrective action plans.




  • Coordinate major overhauls and quality repairs to critical rotating equipment.




  • Troubleshoot equipment problems, conduct root cause failure analysis, and implement corrective actions.




  • Collaborate with production for reliability improvements, integrating the rotating equipment program with the OEE process.



What You'll Bring to the Job:



  • BS in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 15 years of reliability engineering experience.




  • Minimum of 3 years experience from the Chemical or Oil & Gas refinery industry.




  • Proven performance leading rotating equipment programs.




  • Expert knowledge of rotating equipment and industry best practices.




  • Familiarity with specialty equipment and predictive technologies.




  • Strong problem-solving abilities and written/verbal communication skills.




  • Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
