We are currently seeking a PROJECT MANAGER with 5 or more years of experience for our Construction Observation & Testing (COT) group at our Abingdon, Maryland office.
COT PM's are responsible for report preparation, foundation inspections, and field/laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, aggregates, and structural steel. Project Managers coordinate personnel, equipment and work with technical experts required to complete the assigned projects. PM's also collaborate with clients, project managers, subcontractors and other management entities on major issues to ensure material requirements are met and that problems are resolved efficiently. A typical work week consists of 50% office and 50 field work.
Successful candidates MUST have:
+ Bachelor's degree and 5 years of COT experience or a High School diploma and 7 years of COT experience
+ Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field is a plus
+ Level 2 WACEL, NICET or ACI and other certifications
+ Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
+ Analytical and problem-solving ability
+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills
+ Ability to effectively coordinate projects
+ Good driving record and reliable transportation
