Design, test, and execute manufacturing process requirements. Advise suppliers on mold fabrication issues. Requires: Experience with multi-cavity tooling. Ability to calculate: clamp pressure requirements; shot size, speed, and pressure; flow restrictions; air entrapment and venting issues; flashing; weld lines; etc. Experience with scientific molding and experience using mold-filling simulation software.
