Salary Range: $60K - $105K Permanent Position with Benefits. A growing A&E consulting firm in Akron is seeking HVAC Engineers Level 1 & 2. HVAC Engineers will be responsible for the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning design for industrial and chemical plants and related office facilities. Plumbing system layout and sizing. Fire protection design specifications. Performs field work by obtaining information, making field sketches, and verifying drawings. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required (PE preferred) Entry Level to 5 years minimum HVAC experience with minimum 2 years industrial HVAC experience Experience in plumbing design and fire protection systems a plus Knowledge of mechanical and fire codes and NFPA and ASHRAE standards AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, or Revit experience a plus Must be knowledgeable in mechanical codes, fire codes, and NFPA standards. Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) experienced Must have excellent communication skills (verbal & written) Must be able to travel overnight domestically on occasion. Screen.
