Qualifications

  • We are looking for someone who has an environmental background, preferably with waste and water or GHG, but can be adaptable to other oil and gas environmental experience
  • Knowledge and experience in Oil & Gas Operations
  • Produced water experience
  • Experience with Texas Railroad Commission and TCEQ rules and regulations.
  • Understanding of EPA, SPCC plans, Tier II Reporting, RCRA, and Public Water Systems.
  • Technical and environmental or socioeconomic background
  • Strong communication / interpersonal skills with ability to influence without formal authority
  • Experience working cross-functional teams to solve complex issues.
  • We are looking for environmental professionals with waste and water background to provide support for the Business Unit.

Responsibilities

  • The role will assist in our EPI reporting, spill support and reporting, solid waste management guidance and program enhancements, and supporting our internal assessments of active operations.
  • This role will be new to the Unconventional Texas E&R team, so you will be on the ground floor of shaping the role to meet our clients' needs
  • Enhance support model for water and waste various Field Training
  • Supports sites solid waste management program development
  • Compliance resource for operations on Waste and water
  • Support Business units in spills, looks for improvement opportunities and spill prevention
  • Supports preparation for and participates in Environmental Impact Assessments
  • Track Green House Gas emissions by source category
  • Waste Manifest data collection for annual EPI reporting
  • Take Soil Samples and Water Samples
  • Support operations in understanding upcoming Spill Reporting requirements
  • Support team with identifying and maintaining key KPI metrics
