This company produces large alloy castings for the aerospace, defense, industrial equipment, and other markets.   • Ability to produce castings from 600 different alloys

What you will be doing:



  • Drive CI by both leading projects and promoting the use of CI tools and lean principles

  • Hire, train, and develop continuous improvement team members. You will have 2 direct reports.

  • Direct and assign Six Sigma Black Belt projects

  • Report on the project progress

  • Participate in New Employee Orientation and implement continuous improvement initiatives when needed

  • Help management create and refine KPIs

  • Serve as the Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing Expert

  • Maintain all current professional certifications appropriate to continuous improvement



What they are looking for:



  • BS in Engineering or Business

  • 7+ years of prior experience with leading continuous improvement / lean manufacturing events or initiatives out of a manufacturing environment

  • Ideally from a casting / machining / heat treating job shop environment. (They are not a high-volume low-cost provider)

  • Six Sigma Black Belt is needed

  • Excellent communication skills are required

  • Ability to lead and collaborate with teams
