846002 Planning Design Construction

Expectations:

Under limited supervision, manages and administers the project safety, schedule and construction activities to deliver new facilities and/or alternations/modifications to existing facilities, to include preconstruction, on-site coordination, utilities shutdowns & tie ins, commissioning of engineering systems, construction processes, quality control, and all aspects of field safety & construction management.

Education:

Accredited Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management required.

Experience/Training:

Minimum of 8 years managing Healthcare Design and Construction projects and programs. Experience with AE and GC contracts; demonstrated ability to write, edit and enforce such contracts. Completion of OSHA 10 Hour training, OSHA 30 preferred.

Skills:

Strong analytical skills, meticulous, proactive, demonstrates a high level of initiative and a collaborative team player.

Technically strong in project planning and reporting.

Clear understanding the role of Capital Projects and Programs in relation to Healthcare business processes. Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
